We loved working with Kyla Wiebe so much, and we knew that she had experience with cross-cultural illustration, so it seemed natural to reach out to her for Journey with Joseph through Advent. Kyla said yes.

For Journey with Joseph, we introduced a new way of working using Asana to manage the project and using a three-round approach:

concept drawings, aka thumbnails
inking, where we commit to shapes and colours
final images, ready for layout and publication
