Wondering if your book is ready to publish?
Looking for a professional opinion?
An editorial assessment from Siretona Creative will help you with revisions on your manuscript and decisions about your publishing options.
While you are free to make a financial investment any time, we recommend that you first do as much as possible by yourself. When you have taken the manuscript as far as you can get it -- and perhaps gotten a couple of other people to read it -- then come on over and get us to look at it.
Here's what you'll get from us:
An editorial assessment from Siretona Creative will help you with revisions on your manuscript and decisions about your publishing options.
Your editor will review the entire manuscript and provide a thorough sample edit of one (1) chapter or 10%, along with 1-3 pages of feedback. They will point out any number of things to give you direction for you next major revision:
-
grammar and style (repeated patterns or mistakes, e.g. verb tense shift, passive voice, sentence fragments)
-
character development
-
too many characters
-
plot structure
-
wordiness (or not enough words)
-
organization
-
show vs tell
-
dialogue vs description
-
continuity
-
and more ...
This feedback will help you understand what kind of work do you need to do in order to improve your manuscript and suggest ways your editor might approach working with you.
Your report will also include an evaluation of your book's fit for our publishing program and will provide recommendations to guide your decision on how to publish your book.
If we choose to work together, your assessment will count towards a discount off your publishing project or towards a membership in our Nestbuilder program.
