Colleen Taylor
A prairie soul with a heart for the world. Colleen grew up on a farm in southeast Saskatchewan, but has lived in China, visited Mexico, lived and traveled in metropolitan cities, and has worked with international students and foreign workers.

Colleen's gifts and interests are multifaceted: singer/songwriter, writer/editor/publisher, public speaker, educator, administrator, mentor, and more. In 2006, Colleen founded Siretona Creative, an umbrella for her own work and a place to gather and equip like-minded artists whose art is a catalyst for change around the world.

Key publishing projects include BlueBeary and Open Eyes Books, a series by Kathleen McMillan designed to teach observation and communication skills to children; Notes from Over the Hill by Martha Morgan, a humorous look at aging; and two CDs of original music -- Prairie Soul and Minus 40 Tour Live. In June 2009, Colleen's cowritten song "Child of My Heart" won Award of Merit in the Song Lyrics category for The Word Guild's Canadian Christian Writing Awards 2009.
